We have been providing quality, personalized speech-language therapy services to children, toddlers to teens since 2009. We moved from San Jose, CA to South Orange County in 2013. We are dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each child and furthering communication skills step by step, based on each child’s unique strengths and interests.
We believe that building strong foundations in speech and language skills is the key to helping children become confident, effective communicators. As children gain stronger communication skills, not only does their self-confidence increase but their relationships with others also develop to new levels. We at Solid Foundations recognize that communication is learned best when children are engaged in their learning process. This means that children will have fun while they are learning!
We also believe that communication skills are built in the context of meaningful interactions with their caregivers. Family members are encouraged to participate in therapy sessions when possible and an individualized home program is developed for each child. Tina Lee, MA, CCC-SLP
Tina Lee, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has over 23 years of experience providing speech-language therapy to children ages preschool through high school. She is licensed by the CA Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, and she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Tina has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist in school districts, as well as private clinics for over 20 years. She is currently the Clinical Director and Speech Language Pathologist of Solid Foundations Speech-Language Therapy Services, Inc. Tina has completed continuing professional development courses in Links to Language, PECS, The Hanen Program, the Kauffman Speech to Language Protocol and Social Thinking.
Tina graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University, with a major in Speech-Language Pathology and a minor in Special Education. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University.
In addition to being a consultant to various school districts, Tina also provides parent and teacher trainings on building speech and language skills in everyday activities. She has a strong understanding of how to help children progress from their current level of language or speech ability. Tina is passionate about advancing children’s speech and language skills and providing parents and teachers with practical strategies to help children become more effective, confident communicators.
